Dear All, To my dear friends and colleagues, my students at morceau and all my friends at Just Sew. On November 16th I had a back operation. So far, so good! I will be out of action for a number of weeks. This is normally the busiest time of year and I am very disappointed I have had to close all morceau classes after Saturday November 14th. I wish it was not this way! I am going to miss such a happy exciting time of year and I am so sorry not to be able to share this time with you. I am hoping everything will continue to go well and we can continue activities after the New Year. Can you believe that is 2010 already? 16 years with Pat and Peter at Poets Walk! We are in the centre of Penrith, Cumbria, UK, on the edge of the English Lake District. We are 20 minutes from Keswick, Carlisle and the Kendal motorway junction. Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and Teesside are all within two hours easy driving, or by rail. morceau is located above and within Just Sew (sharing a common entrance ) in the large upstairs teaching area inside the shop. We are at the top of Poets Walk, 50 metres from Morrison's, and the first shop to be seen when walking from Morrison's to Penrith’s main street. We are 80 metres west of the clock tower that marks the centre of Penrith. Disc parking is available for one hour, or use central car parks (have £4.20 in change, Bluebell car park behind Woolworth's [now B&M] is most convenient). Penrith main line railway and bus stations are both a five-minute walk away. Being so closely linked to Just Sew is an asset to all customers and makes a "one stop" shop for those joining our courses. We are open to all visitors while our courses are in progress, so come and see us in action! On non-course days, visitors are welcome to view the current exhibition and collect a programme during normal shop hours. Just Sew is open from 9.30 until 5pm, Monday through Saturday, closing at 4pm on Wednesdays. Visiting teachers' charges are listed with their courses, normally £25. Hot and cold drinks are provided free of charge at all times. Cancellations are refunded. How to book?
